Extremely rare uncut version of aka 'The Night Stalker/Night Beast' the obscure 1988 Mexican horror/giallo/slasher film directed by Humberto Martinez Mijares.
This film was definitely inspired by John Carpenter's 1978 film 'Halloween'.
Aided by the darkness of the night, a huge, menacing and sadistic psychopath dressed as a soldier and wearing black gloves, black boots and a black motorcycle helmet stalks and slays women and couples in the forests and outskirts of a small village. The killer leaves his victims horribly mutilated. The local police try to hunt him down and reveal his identity. But this time they didn't know how far they would descend into sheer terror. The killings continue as they struggle to find out who the madman is.
A very fun 1980's-style, atmospheric horror film which has many elements from the film 'Halloween'. The killer looks very much like Michael Myers and even breathes like him through his motorcycle helmet. Some of the killings are also straight out of 'Halloween'. This film also has many scenes which are typical of the Italian giallo films.
